Come and delight your body, mind and soul in a practice of Yin and Restorative yoga with me while being bathed in the entrancing music and unique sounds of Brisbane composer Haitch.
The practice of yoga to music has its roots in Nada Yoga, which presupposes that the entire cosmos and all that exists (including humans) be made up of sound vibrations called nada. This concept holds that it is sound energy in motion (vibration) rather than matter, which forms the building blocks of the universe.
The practice will be a blend of Yin and Restorative poses, held in such a way that supports and encourages release and letting go at the deepest level of your being. The class will conclude with a deep indulgent Savasana where Haitch with flow through the room and bathe you in the sounds of the Didgeridoo allowing the vibrations to move through you as you blissfully surrender to a state of deep tranquility. In this peaceful and sublime state, energies are harmonised and relationships between the different realms of your being are brought into a state of balance.
Join us for this unique sensual experience of connecting and soothing your internal rhythms through the practice of yoga while being nourished and bathed in the sounds and rhythms of both classical and exotic instruments.
